Napakiak Ventures Applauds Joint Venture Mentor PSI for NIST IDIQ Award Supporting Neutron Research

Napakiak Ventures proudly congratulates its joint venture mentor, Planned Systems International (PSI), on being awarded a new Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The contract supports NIST’s world-renowned Center for Neutron Research (NCNR)— a critical facility advancing neutron-based measurement science in support of innovation, security, and industry across the United States.

This award marks another milestone in PSI’s long-standing commitment to federal research and laboratory programs, and Napakiak Ventures is honored to be associated through its joint venture partnership.

The NCNR plays a central role in the nation’s scientific infrastructure by providing researchers with access to state-of-the-art neutron instrumentation and beamlines, enabling high-precision experiments in material science, engineering, chemistry, and quantum systems. Neutron research at the NCNR supports breakthroughs in everything from next-generation batteries and semiconductors to structural biology and national security technologies.
